Junior Kindergarten students must be 4 by September 30th of the school year in order to enroll in our program. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept students who do not meet this age requirement.

After your child's application is submitted, our admissions coordinator will contact you to schedule an assessment for your child. Assessments will begin in January.

The child will spend 15-20 minutes with the teacher and her aide. The determination of acceptance will be based on the following:

• Fine & gross motor skills

• Attention span

• Level of cooperation with adults and peers

• Capability of working independently on a given task

• Ability to follow directions

• Oral & written language skills (when appropriate)

• Age- appropriate academic skills

• Level of social skills

• Date of birth

*Due to limited space in our preschool, priority will be given to Catholic families (first to SJA parishioners) and siblings*
