Youth Sacramental Information

For those children aged 7 through high school who have not been baptized, there is a special process where, they celebrate the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, & Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil. Please contact John in the Parish Office for more details.

First Penance and First Communion

Children preparing for the sacraments of Penance and Communion should be participating in Sunday Mass with their families and attending regular Religious Education Classes, whether through our parochial school, Religious Education (CCD), or a recognized Catholic homeschooling program. There are three mandatory parent meetings, an interview, and a children’s day of retreat prior to the celebration of each sacrament. First Penance will be celebrated communally in January, and First Communion will be celebrated the first weekend of May.
